It’s already in September. However we can still feel late summer vibes in the air…
So “Neko Manma #1” will be the recovery recipe for our body from late night drinks, sunny BBQ and amazing music festivals that you might get totally wild like a cat... Well basically, from all summer fun and chilling.
This is a perfect Neko Manma for post-hungover too, so let's share it!
Surve: 2-3 cats
Cooking in: 15 -30 minuets
Preparation: 5 minutes
Fro the miso soup
・1 little chilli of your choice
・100g frozen peas
・100ml coconuts milk
・25g miso of your choice ( Recommend sweet barely one!)
For the rice
・1 cup (160g) Rice of your choice
・30g corn from the tin
・15g coconuts oil
1: Cut the konbu in small pieces. This is easy with kitchen scissors. Soak the konbu in 200ml water for 5 minutes. To get the most out of your konbu, you can also soak it overnight.
2: Cook the rice following the instruction on the packet. If you use a rice cooker, add corn and coconut oil to the rice and cook it. Otherwise, cook the rice and mix in the corn and coconut oil.
3: While the rice cooks, cut a chilli of your choice into small pieces. Heat oil in a frying pan, and cook the chilli lightly.
4: Add the konbu with the soaking water and frozen peas to the frying pan. Bring to a simmer and turn the heat low.
5: Add the miso to the frying pan and stir it in the mixture. Add the coconut milk and stir. Stir in the cooked rice and sprinkle with parsley to serve.
Mix it and fix it! Eat like a cat.
TIPs: If you boil miso too much, it can loose favours. So adding miso once everyhing are cooked.
